I know, it can be hard. Putting yourself out there, online. For some folks that grew up as the personal computer was growing up (or before), who were in school or working before the Internet was essential, or even existed, social networking in the digital realm can make one feel very… exposed.
That was fast. Just came across two articles in less than 24 hours on “the dangers” of “rapid-fire” micro-blogging. One on 
The other morning, I woke up and turned on the tube to watch some Sportscenter, and NY1 was on. I figured I keep it there for Weather on the Ones then change it back to where its suppose to be. Suddenly, they started reporting on the Web 2.0 conference that took place here in NY. So after convincing myself that this was a bit more important than watching highlights, I left it there and, I must admit, learned quite a bit.
